Hi! I’m Lindsey, the face behind The Skin Specialist. My journey into skincare began at 20 when my once-clear skin suddenly broke out with persistent acne. My confidence plummeted, but looking back, it was the best thing that could have happened to me. It ignited a fierce determination to understand the skin, the anatomy, and the physiology of the face to uncover what was happening, and, most importantly, how to fix it.

Through extensive research, I discovered the power of professional skin treatments. I enrolled in an advanced skincare course, gained my qualifications, and within a year, my skin was back to being smooth and healthy. That’s when I truly fell in love with investing in self-care to regain confidence.

I dedicated the next five years to mastering my craft - studying, attending courses, completing assignments, and passing exams. Now, I’m fully qualified in advanced facials, aesthetics, and laser hair removal, and I continue to expand my knowledge every day to bring the best treatments to my clients.
